우리는 오늘 마우이섬 와일리아에서 점심먹었다. (신혼여행기)
오아후섬에서 마우이섬으로 넘어간 첫 날, 도착이 일렀는지 아직 리조트 방이 준비되지 않아 우선 점심부터 먹기로 했다. 찾았던 곳은 Wailea해변 근처 Wailea Shopping Village 내에 있는 Cheese Burger라는 햄버거 가게였다.
가게입구는 이렇게 생겼다. 그냥 보통 미국음식점 같았다.
실내는 이렇게 생겼다. 하와이분위기가 풍기는 인테리어였고, 여행자를 신나게 만들어주는 그런 즐거운 분위기의 인테리어였다.
메뉴는 굉장히 많아보이지만 가게 이름이 이름입다보니 대부분 버거종류였다.
우리가 주문했던 음식은 무슨무슨 버거였고 사진처럼 정말 양도 많고 엄청 느끼했다. 다 못먹었다. 그리고 음식 맛도 그다지 훌륭하지는 않았던 것으로 기억한다.
마지막으로 아내와 함께 사진 한방! Cheese Burger...강력추천은 아님 :(

나는 완전 미국 레이크타호에 갔었다.
출장기간에 주말이 있어 5시간여를 차를 몰고 레이크 타호라는 호수를 놀러갔다. 굉장히 아름다운 호수였다...레이크 타호는 캘리포니아와 네바다 주가 반반씩 가지고 있는 호수이다. 10월이었음에도 살얼음이 얼만큼 추운 날씨였고, 그래서 특별한 활동 (activity)를 하진 못했지만, 그냥 바라보고 느끼는 것만으로도 가슴벅찬 감동을 주는 그런 호수였다. 추천!!

나는 완전 해인사 팔만대장경에 감동먹었다.

Brief Description*
The Temple of Haeinsa, on Mount Kaya, is home to the Tripitaka Koreana, the most complete collection of Buddhist texts, engraved on 80,000 woodblocks between 1237 and 1248. The buildings of Janggyeong Pangeon, which date from the 15th century, were constructed to house the woodblocks, which are also revered as exceptional works of art. As the oldest depository of the Tripitaka, they reveal an astonishing mastery of the invention and implementation of the conservation techniques used to preserve these woodblocks.
Statement of Significance
The World Heritage Committee inscribed this site on the World Heritage List on the basis of criteria (iv) and (vi), in recognition that the Korean version of the Buddhist scriptures (Tripitaka Koreana) at the Haeinsa Temple is one of the most important and most complete corpus of Buddhist doctrinal texts in the world, and is also outstanding for the high aesthetic quality of its workmanship. The
buildings in which the scriptures are housed are unique both in terms of their antiquity so far as this specialized type of structure is concerned, and also for the remarkably effective solutions developed in the 15th century to the problems posed by the need to preserve woodblocks against deterioration.
